KT Wiz’s ‘Young Gun’ Kim Jung-woon (19) expressed his aspirations to grow one step further through the spring camp.

A total of 52 people, including coach Lee Kang-cheol, who is in his 5th season with KT, 12 coaching staff and 40 players, will participate in the camp.
Kim Jeong-woon, who wore the KT uniform as the first pick in last year’s rookie draft, was also listed on the spring camp roster.
Kim Jeong-woon is a right-handed sidearm pitcher who throws a fastball and slider in the mid-140 km/h range. Kim Jeong-woon is attracting attention as a player with great potential. He signed a contract with KT for a down payment of 220 million won in October last year.
Kim Jeong-woon, who participated in the camp for the first time after coming to the pros, expressed his feelings, saying, “I am excited and I like the idea that I have to do well.”
Kim Jeong-un devoted himself to physical training throughout the winter.
He explained, “I was training in Iksan, and after New Year’s Day, I came up to Suwon and trained. I digested training focused on weight training and physical training. I also did light catch ball training.”
He said that he is improving his skills through systematic training after coming to the pros.
Kim Jeong-woon explained, “The thing that has changed after coming to pro is that the training is a little more systematic. It’s not someone telling me to, it’s that I train according to the program. I’m also learning how to throw the ball from my seniors and coaches.”
Coach Lee Kang-cheol, a former legendary underhand pitcher, pointed out a problem after watching Kim Jeong-woon’s pitching.
