메이저놀이터 The LNG team of Lee “Scout” Ye-chan and Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong has been on a roll in the last five weeks, winning two straight games to move up to fourth place with 8 wins and 4 losses.
Lee “Scout” Ye-chan has been particularly impressive. It’s safe to say that ‘Scout’ is getting a hard carry for LNG right now. Just looking at yesterday’s match against OMG, he was named the sole MVP as Nico in the first set and Annie in the second set, contributing to the team’s victory by making big plays at key moments. This puts Lee “Scout” Ye-chan at 11 total MVPs, well ahead of second-place BLG’s XUN with 8.
And then there’s EDG. EDG had been struggling to live up to their reputation in the past, but since the addition of ‘Wooji’, they have been revitalized. They’re now 6-5 with three straight wins and are in eighth place, and Woo-ji’s performance is especially encouraging.
EDG dropped the first set to UP, but bounced back to win the second and third sets. In both of those sets, Uji was named MVP, with a KDA of 16/1/7 in the second set elimination and 9/0/7 in the third set as Kaiser. In the third set against WE, which they won 2:1, the self-proclaimed champion Bane played a solid game with a KDA of 6/1/11.
Other than that, the LPL is expected to be even more competitive as the existing powerhouses, such as BLG, who are still cruising to the top of the standings, and Jingdong, who are on a 10-game winning streak, are still going strong, while teams like LNG and EDG are also gaining momentum.
